Miniweb announces an agreement with Eurosat Distribution Ltd, the UK’s leading developer and supplier of satellite TV and consumer electronics to the independent retail sector, to integrate Miniweb’s award-winning platform into their new generation of Manhattan brand Freeview boxes.

LONDON – 24 March 2010 - Eurosat, an EU wide distributor of terrestrial and satellite TV products, together with Miniweb, the award-winning developer of converged content experiences, have announced the integration of Miniweb’s Connected TV Services Platform into a new range of HD Freeview set top boxes. Eurosat have exclusively selected Miniweb’s broadband content guide and services platform to enhance their new generation of Manhattan branded Set Top Boxes, adding a variety of internet video and personalization features. Eurosat is pleased to announce that Devolo and LEA AV HomePlug kits are now available to the Independent consumer retail, satellite specialist and installation channel exclusively from Eurosat Nationwide Branches.

With the forthcoming launch of BBC iPlayer on Freesat HD and Freesat+ products, the Freesat HD receiver will need to be connected to the viewer’s broadband connection and an ethernet cable isn’t always convenient or acceptable. The solution is a Freesat accredited AV HomePlug adapter.

These adapters from Devolo and LEA are the only AV HomePlug kits tested and approved by Freesat for this purpose. Customers can buy with confidence that these are the right AV HomePlug adaptors for the job.

Manhattan has launched a High Definition Digital Terrestrial Receiver HDT-400 that is PVR Ready. It is MPEG4 and MPEG2 compartible set-top box that is 1080i and with HDMI and USB. Eurosat Distribution Ltd are pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Swedish company A2B Electronics AB to act as it’s sole UK distributor for their Multibox-a unique digital “micro-headend”.

Eurosat has been appointed by I-Do-It UK as the preferred distributor for Selfsat flat satellite antenna products in the United Kingdom & Ireland.

Under the distribution agreement, Eurosat will market the three I-Do-It’s Selfsat branded flat satellite antenna models, comprising of the Single, Twin and Quad LNB output.
